Almond Alliance Convention

Almond Alliance of California’s Annual Convention is the premier event for the almond community. The convention is a one of a kind opportunity that brings together industry professionals. Growers, huller/shellers, processors and allied businesses gather in a collaborative atmosphere to share knowledge, attend educational seminars, cultivate new ideas, while developing fresh approaches to their businesses.

Attendees will spend three days at the Hyatt Regency in Monterey, California. The 2018 convention agenda is packed with interactive and informative experiences, assuring that attendees get the most out of their convention experience. Almond Alliance provides a venue for the almond community to gather, exchange ideas, and learn about the current trends in our industry.

Attendee registration will be open from January 22, 2018 – March 22, 2018 
*Late fees will be applied from March 23, 2018 – April 20, 2018

The convention gives attendees the opportunity to meet with industry colleagues and network business to business in an inviting backdrop. Attendees are able to listen to captivating speakers, gain insight on current industry trends, and rejuvenate industry relations with old and new friends!

Exhibit at the Almond Alliance Convention

The Almond Alliance Convention provides a unique networking platform for your company to showcase products, services and offerings to almond hullers/shellers, processors, handlers and growers.  Attendees are able to listen to captivating speakers, gain insight on current industry trends, and rejuvenate industry relations with old and new friends!

Booth selection and exhibitor registration will be open from January 22, 2018 – March 22, 2018 with priority based on level of sponsorship support and membership status/history and then on a first-come, first-serve basis.
*Late fees will be applied from March 23, 2018 – April 20, 2018

Exhibitor Registration Fees:

  • One complimentary registration with exhibit purchase
  • Colleague: $250
  • Spouse: $100
  • Late Registration- Colleague: $325
  • Late Registration- Spouse: $130

Exhibit Space Fee:$1,200 (one booth per company)

Display: 10 x 10 carpeted space, one 6′ draped table, two chairs, 110 V electrical service (upon request), as well as listings in Convention Program. One conference registrations (additional booth personnel must be registered for the conference)

  • Set-Up: Exhibitors set up will be between 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Monday, April 30th and Tuesday, May 1st.
  • Break-Down: Break-down MUST occur between 7:30 am and 10:00 am on Friday, May 4th. Early break-down must be approved by Almond Alliance prior to the convention or early break-down fees will be applied.

Check-In: Please check in at the Official Registration area. (All Exhibitors MUST be registered for Convention 2018 in addition to registering for an exhibit space.)

Sponsorship Opportunities are Available!

Almond Alliance Members have the opportunity to sponsor the Annual Convention 2018 in a variety of ways. Company name or logo placement options are available, and sponsorship’s range with commensurate promotional exposure. Given the increased popularity and impact of Convention sponsorship’s, Almond Alliance has increased our sponsorship opportunities to accommodate, our members request. (Please note, we offer first right of refusal to Member Companies who sponsored last year.)

Sponsors receive:

  • All sponsors will be eligible for early booth selection begin the week of January 8, 2018, with priority based on level of sponsorship support.
  • Logo or company name in text form (depending upon level of sponsorship) on the convention 2018 website
  • Logo or company name in text form (depending upon level of sponsorship) in convention specific emails to all Almond Alliance members
  • Logos or company name in text form in display in exhibit hall
  • Logo or company name in text form in convention 2018 program
  • Sponsors secured by February will have their logo included on printed graphics throughout the convention

Monterey, CA Welcomes Almond Alliance for our 2018 Annual Convention!

The convention location & hotel for 2018 Annual Convention is the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa on Del Monte Golf Course.

Room block will be open between January 8, 2018 –  March 31, 2018.

We are delighted to have negotiated great room prices and concessions for our members. Room rates start at $229 single/double occupancy and the group is exempt from the daily Hotel Service Fee. If you are unable to attend for any reason, you are responsible for cancelling your own room reservations directly with the hotel at least 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid a one-night penalty charge imposed by the hotel. Check-in time: 4 pm, Check-out time: 11 am.

Please note that in order to have a reservation in the group room block, you must be a member of Almond Alliance and register for the Almond Alliance Annual Convention. Almond Alliance reserves the right to review the conference room block and remove those individuals who have not registered for the conference. The hotel reservation should be made under the corresponding registered delegate’s name to avoid confusion.

Conference attendees are welcome to call the hotel for reservations at  (831) 372-1234; please mention that you are with the “Almond Alliance” to get the group rate. Early reservations are recommended as discounted rooms are limited. Conference room rates are available until March 31, 2018 or until sold out.
