Jan. 10, 2018 – -The Almond Alliance successfully advocated for cap and trade proceeds to be allocated to the agricultural sector to assist with funding for harvesting equipment, heavy-duty trucks, pump engines, tractors, and other equipment through the Funding Agricultural Replacement Measures for Emission Reductions (FARMER) Program.

This month California Air Resources Board staff will conduct public workshops and webinars in several locations on the development which will outline CARB’s recommendations for expending FARMER funds.  The workshops will provide an opportunity for the Almond Industry to participate with CARB staff and other stakeholders in the development of the program guidelines.  To register or for more information visit:
