Huntington Beach, CA — The Almond Alliance is pleased to announce Damian Mason as the keynote speaker for the 44th Annual Almond Alliance Convention, taking place April 27–30, 2026, at the Paséa Hotel & Spa in Huntington Beach, California.

Widely recognized for his sharp insights, humor, and straight talk approach to agriculture, Mason brings a unique perspective that blends agricultural economics, real-world farm experience, and comedic storytelling. His keynote will set the tone for the Almond Alliance’s premier annual gathering of growers, huller shellers, processors, and industry partners from across the almond industry.

“Damian has a rare ability to challenge audiences while keeping them engaged, entertained, and thinking differently about the future of agriculture,” said Alexi Rodriguez, President and CEO of the Almond Alliance. “His background, credibility, and energy make him an ideal keynote speaker as our industry navigates both opportunity and change.”

Mason is the host and producer of several agriculture-focused podcasts, including The Business of Agriculture, Do Business Better, and Cutting the Curve with XtremeAg, as well as his newest show, The Granary. He is the author of multiple books, most recently Do Business Better and Food Fear, and is a frequent contributor on national media outlets, including Fox News, Newsmax, and Cheddar News, where he works to inform audiences and dispel misinformation about agriculture.

Raised on a dairy farm and a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Agricultural Economics, Mason continues to own and manage farm and timber land today. His professional experience spans every corner of agriculture, from row crops and specialty crops to livestock and food production, and includes speaking engagements in all 50 U.S. states and internationally. Adding to his distinctive delivery, Mason studied comedy writing and improvisation at The Second City in Chicago.

The 44th Annual Almond Alliance Convention will bring together leaders from across the almond supply chain for four days of education, networking, and conversations shaping the future of American almonds. Attendees can expect expert speakers, timely discussions, and opportunities to connect with peers and partners in one of California’s premier coastal destinations.

The Convention will take place April 27-30, 2026, at the Paséa Hotel & Spa in Huntington Beach, California. For more information about the Almond Alliance Convention, visit https://almondalliance.org/convention/.
