The Voice of American Almonds, the Almond Alliance, is dedicated to translating the needs of our industry into solution-oriented policies.

Being a member of the Almond Alliance gives you a voice at the state, national, and global levels. Our job is to be in a position of influence to best champion, advocate, and deliver on behalf of the entire almond community – our farmers, processors, consumers, and the communities we all live in. The Almond Alliance acts as the lead advocate for the industry, leading in solutions for the future of American almonds and agriculture.

Membership Types

Hullers, shellers, and processor dues are calculated based on total volume of product:

    • 0-2 million: $1,000.00
    • 2-5 million: $1,670.00
    • 5-10 million: $2,670.00
    • 10-20 million: $3,500.00
    • 20-50 million: $5,000.00
    • 50-70 million: $6,000.00
    • 70+ million: $8,000.00

  • Grower members dues are based on acreage:
    • 1-50 acres: $100
    • > 51 acres: $2/acres*
  • Grower dues do not exceed $5,000

A Handler-Grower or Huller Sheller Grower member is defined as any individual, corporation, or other entity which is engaged in hulling, shelling, handling, or processing almonds, where the Handler or Huller Sheller is the member and is permitted to extend Almond Alliance membership benefits to their growers.

  • Membership fees for the Handler Grower or Huller Sheller Grower category are $.001/lb for the total volume of product.

Associate members are defined as an individual or firm that provides products or services directly to the almond industry.

Affiliate members are defined as trade associations, boards, commissions, or similar organizations that represent the interest of a group of like-minded individuals.

Member Benefits

Members have access to critical and insider information on the policy, politics, and regulations affecting the almond industry from the only trade association by and for the almond community. Almond Alliance team of regulatory & legal experts, technical specialists, policy authorities, and communications specialists who understand the needs of our industry. Our Advocacy Team acts on legislation & regulation and leads on your behalf. Working daily with our partners, we handle the issues so you can focus on what matters most: running a successful business.

The Almond Alliance makes communicating with our membership a priority. Association member publications include weekly E-Newsletter, Industry Alerts, Almond Advantage Magazine, Annual Advocacy Report, Membership Directory, “What’s Shakin” Social Media Video Series, and the Almond Alert Podcast.

The Almond Alliance designs our annual educational seminars to ensure members’ businesses are successful, safe, and compliant. Training topics include but are not limited to Employee Safety, Heat Illness Prevention, CPR, First-Aid, Labor Law, Harassment Prevention for supervisors and seasonal workforce, and State and Federal Program Application Assistance.

It’s all about the community – The Almond Alliance hosts a full calendar of events throughout the year. Most notably, our Annual Convention. Our convention is a hot spot for institutional knowledge and provides the opportunity for strength, strategy, unity, opportunity, and appreciation among industry members. Additional events include Almond Movers & Shakers, Regional Listening Sessions, Almond Champion, and Almond PAC mixer.

The Almond Alliance partners with the legal experts at Henderson Hatfield to provide each member with thirty minutes of legal advice for complex and ever-changing laws governing the employer. Throughout the year, members will receive timely updates on noteworthy laws that impact the day-to-day operations and policies of California employers, as well as informational articles and guidance for your business.
